“Oh, thank you.” Bucky spoke, voice relieved. He hadn’t seen the cat all day and was starting to get worried. he had just left his apartment to find the cat. He carefully took the cat from the woman’s hands, holding the ragdoll to his chest with one hand while the other reached out for a handshake. “Hi, Bucky Barnes. Thank you for bringing back my cat.”
She said nothing about the fact she knew who he was. “Yeah, I think the poor little man decided he wanted to befriend my dog.” She laughed. “I just moved in across the the hall. I’m making steak for dinner, if you’d like to join me.”
