"About 7 years now. I did my twenty, got out when I was 37-38 ish.” She took another drink. “Why trying to figure out how old I am?”
“No, just curious. Although wouldn’t have guessed you’re 44-45ish.” He grinned over his glass.
“I turn 45 in October.” She chuckled and took another drink. “Keep grinning at me like that, I might have to wipe it off your face.
